Overview

Women’s and Girls’ cricket continues to be a high priority to the ECB and Cambridgeshire Cricket.

With more women and girls playing cricket nationally than ever before, we are committed to ensuring we provide suitable opportunities in this area. To do this we will listen and react to the players, parents, coaches and volunteers from both schools and clubs alike.

Ahead of the 2024 season we set up the Cambridgeshire Women’s & Girls’ Cricket League, a board run dedicated league for Women’s and Girls’ cricket. This replaced the Women’s & Girls’ cricket leagues that were part of the existing leagues structures in the county.

These sessions are aimed at any girl starting out on their soft ball cricket journey or who may lack confidence.

There are two female coaches at each session.
