We are pleased to announce the launch of the Cambridgeshire Cricket “The Cricket Collective” Grassroots Cricket Awards for 2024.

The awards are the annual celebration of the volunteers who go above and beyond to help make cricket happen to all clubs across Cambridgeshire.

This year, there is a brand new category sponsored by Metro Bank for those championing girls’ cricket at clubs.

The Cricket Collective Awards have also joined together with the Coach Awards, so at the end of the season we are able to celebrate more people delivering recreational cricket than ever before.

This year there are 14 categories have a look at the document via the button below to see what the categories and the criteria for nominating in that category then click on the QR code to make your nomination. Nominations can also be made HERE

Remember nominating someone in your club is not a Committee job, anyone can nominate someone, so don’t wait for your Club Chair or Secretary to get round to it (and anyway it might be those people you wish to nominate!). You can do it, and do it when you see someone doing something outstanding at your Club or for your League or as a Cricket Official.

Don’t forget to share details about the Awards and the QR code with all your players and members.

The deadline for entries in Cambridgeshire will be Sunday 18th August and Category winners from the Cambridgeshire will be invited to attend the Presentation Day with our partners Essex Cricket in the Community on 11th September at the Cloud County Ground in Chelmsford.

All local winners will be entered into the National Cricket Collective Awards, announced Winter 2024.
